  • Ummm.. I cannot believe that people are actually here defending insurance companies. This is rich. Just a quick biz lesson for you folks that are lapping up Mr. Woodward's insurance industry puff-piece. Profit is what comes AFTER all the salaries are paid.

  • Apparently "Mike" knows little about business, and is totally comfortable with the CEOs making millions per year, while denying claims to ordinary folks. Those guys making 12 million a year LOVE guys like you that make 45k a year.

  • Not so fast, Mr. Woodward! Readers are not as dumb as you think. Everyone knows that "profit" is what happens after EVERYONE is paid. Including CEOS who are making 12 million per year, all of the perks, stock options, benefits, etc.

  • It's about safety and comfort. An airplane stays aloft because of a balance of thrust and weight. I think it's totally reasonable to ask that they either move to a seat near an adjacent empty one, pay for an upgrade to larger seats, or pay for another seat.

  • I joined twitter last year, at first out of curiosity in what it might do to promote my book. I was then drawn in to the twitter thing because so many people who started following me were raving about the power of twitter. Well.. 400+ followers later, I'm SO tired of twitter!
